Wanting Moore

COMING SOON

Maizy Moore, nickname "Momo" is an up-and-coming model that moved from a small town to the big city. New York is filled with opportunities for success and Maizy did not want to miss her chance when renowned modeling agency, Candid Darlings, emailed her and invited her to be their newest edition for a winter clothing line. However, something seems awry when she realizes… she's never truly alone. Could the bright lights and constant attention be the main source of her paranoia, or is it something far more sinister at play?

Raven Vaughn is nothing short of trouble. From her early teens to adulthood, she was never on the favorable side of the law. Managing to clean up her act and persuade others with her easy-going persona, she landed a decent job with a modeling agency as tech support.

Her life has become steady; bleak, day after day.

Until she saw her.

That was when her facade began to unravel, Raven all but consumed by the very thought of her, Maizy Moore.

And like a parasite, she would stop at nothing to worm into every fiber of her being.

She couldn't fathom ever having enough.

She would always want Moore.

This is by far my favorite retelling of Persephone and Hades I’ve read, and I’ve read quite a few. Persephone develops into a strong character and has the fiery spirit I crave in a heroine. Thank you Ms. Garcia for not making her an innocent airhead like some other stories do. Hades is also dark and brooding but is not a alpha jerk, he is sensible and it is also cute watching him struggle with his feelings towards Persephone. The world and other characters are well fleshed out and unique. I especially enjoyed Cerberus. Overall a very fun and beautiful story, highly recommended.

Praise & Reviews

A devastatingly beautiful retelling of Medusa's story. The characters were wonderfully crafted, and I recommend this to anyone who loves LGBTQ+ fiction, Greek mythology, and/or a tragic love story. Absolutely captivating!

Reader Review

I have read many Hades/Persephone romance novels and didn’t like many of them for one reason or another. That being said, this book knocked it out of the park for me. I love the way the writers description of Hades, it was very intriguing to say the least. Persephone was well written and learned to become the queen of the underworld and earned the fear and respect of her subjects. I would definitely recommend this book who loves Hades and Persephone Greek Mythology as much as I do.
